Twin Rivers Table (2019)
Cedar, Steel, Glass
Private Collection
The top from this piece was given to me by a fellow artist who had received it from another artist. They had loved the shape of the piece, but hadn’t gotten around to finding the right design to incorporate it. I created this piece for Inner Coast Woodworking and Quilting at Bank of the Arts, a joint exhibition between Craven Arts Council & Gallery and the Arts Council of Carteret .

Best in Contemporary Craft, 2018 Celebration of the Live Oaks
This piece was created for the 2nd Celebration of the Live Oaks exhibition. The live oak used was harvested from trees felled during the expansion of Carteret Health. Having played violin for eight years, from primary school through high school, I had always been interested in creating a violin. The violin is a 4/4 solid body electric that can be plugged into an amp, or used with headphones for practicing. The work won the award above, and remains the hardest piece I have created so much in terms of technical elements.
Live Edge Dry Bar (2017)

Merit Award, 2017 Celebration of the Live Oaks
This piece was created for the 1st Celebration of the Live Oaks exhibition. The live oak used was harvested from trees felled during the expansion of Carteret Health. It features a live edge top, book matched bottom shelf, and geometric steel legs. The left side features a stainless steel insert for mixing drinks.
